The member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Fyodor Venislavsky, did not find a sufficient number of votes in the parliament to approve the economic reservations.
The Verkhovna Rada does not have enough votes to approve economic reservations, but this idea is not yet “buried.” The member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security Fyodor Venislavsky said this in an interview with Radio NV.
“Today, I don’t see enough votes in the Rada to support the economic reservation because this is another chapter between those who have money and those who don’t have that kind of money,” the people’s deputy said.
At the same time, he noted that the idea of economic reservation has been abandoned. “This issue is very controversial and it is related to millions who profit from shadow schemes,” Venislavsky explained.
The people’s deputy also commented on the statements regarding the introduction of service periods for the military. He believes they were made to “please military personnel.”
“It was discussed about 12 months on the front line, 18, then at the end – about 36 months But after a closed appeal from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Chief of the General Staff, the .Minister of Defense, information was given to all colleagues from different factions about how much force the enemy is concentrating on, how strong we have. And in such conditions, the acceptance of any urgent framework for the possibility of dismissal from military service is definitely a threat. to national security,” he explained.
Venislavsky added that at the front the number of invaders was increasing by thousands of people every month.
When asked if the representatives of the people from the Ministry of Defense demand to fulfill the instructions about the service life, Venislavsky said: “Requesting the introduction of such a law or bill in the current conditions is another step towards to the loss of the state.”
We remind you that in June the Verkhovna Rada registered a new bill on economic protection from mobilization. According to this project, every business that pays a military tax of 20 thousand hryvnias per month per employee has the opportunity to reserve it.
At the same time, the three main concepts of economic reservation in Ukraine are considered.
