A Strategic Investment Council was created to prioritize projects that would allow the winter to pass without a shock.
A headquarters was created under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine that will deal with the issue of preparing the regions for the heating season. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said this on Telegram.
“An appropriate headquarters has been created under the Government It is necessary to consider any situations and immediately respond to emergency situations,” said the Prime Minister.
As Shmygal pointed out, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and regional leaders are faced with the following tasks:

building up the necessary reserves,

and the development of decentralized generation.
“We must advance these issues properly and quickly,” stressed the head of government.
In addition, the Government is considering the protection and restoration of critical infrastructure, including the restoration of key facilities and the construction of shelters in schools.
Ukrenergo has accumulated a three-fold stock of repair equipment compared to the norm in preparation for winter.
Energy Minister German Galushchenko believes that Ukraine will make it through the winter of 2024-2025 without power outages if the Russians do not manage to destroy critical energy infrastructure facilities that survived the initial attacks .
