The GUR attacked military institutions of the Russian Federation.
Specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science carried out a cyber strike on the network infrastructure of the North Caucasus Federal University, which trains UAV operators, digital communications specialists, engineers and physicists for the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported by Public on October 11, citing a source in military intelligence.
It is noted that as a result of the operation, the internal information infrastructure of the facility was damaged, and the enemy’s target resources (websites, databases, file storages) with a total volume of more than 150 terabytes were destroyed. Cyber specialists attacked 11 websites, more than 7 thousand office computers, 135 servers and file storages.
Also, to cover the main direction of the attack on the affected sites, the GUR members published a propaganda postcard in support of the offensive operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This company is accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development of the aggressor state and is considered one of the most secure and reliable in Russia.
