Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in France on October 10.
In Paris, the head of state presented a plan for Ukraine’s victory to his French President Emmanuel Macron. Zelensky also said that the next Peace Sami is scheduled for November 2024. The exact date is still unknown. The president stated this during a briefing in the courtyard of the Elysee Palace.
“Today I told President Macron our plan, the plan for victory, as well as other initiatives, both on the battlefield and in government,” he said.
The head of state added that he raised the issue of ammunition and the lifting of restrictions for Ukraine on the use of Western long-range weapons. He added that Kyiv is looking for funding for domestic weapons production.
The leaders discussed the situation on the battlefield and things that could strengthen Ukrainian positions and give more protection to Europe. Zelensky thanked Anna Kievskaya for training and staffing the brigade.
Macron noted that the scale of French assistance in providing weapons and training the Ukrainian military remains the same as in previous months.
This was an important stage for us, an opportunity to talk about the next weeks and months, work of both a military and diplomatic nature,” he said about his impression of the Ukrainian victory plan.
Data Zelensky will head to Germany because he is due to meet with Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on October 11 in Berlin.
Let us recall that on October 10, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London, where he presented him with a plan for victory. The leaders agreed to work on its implementation together with their allies.
Also in Britain there was a meeting with the new NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, with whom Zelensky discussed Euro-Atlantic integration and the military strengthening of Ukraine.
