“In the Volgograd region, a Yak-130 plane crashed during a training flight,” the report said, citing the regional prosecutor’s office.
While Telegram channel 112 claimed that the accident did not happen in the Volgograd region, but in Kalmykia – 40 kilometers from the capital of the republic, the city of Elista.
“The pilot was ejected by helicopter to a hospital in Volgograd. The cause of the incident was established according to the priority version, it was an equipment failure.
Earlier, a Su-34 fighter-bomber crashed in the Volgograd region. The plane crashed in a deserted area, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed.
