Ukraine hits Russian arsenal near Bryansk

Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces, hit the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Bryansk region. The warehouse contains ammunition for missile and artillery weapons, especially those supplied to the Russians from the DPRK, as well as guided bombs. A significant part of them can be found in the open air.

People under 25 cannot act: Rada approves the law

At the meeting, the Verkhovna Rada approved in the second reading the law in general, which provides exemption from mobilization of Ukrainians under 25 years of age. According to the explanatory note, the law prohibited the enlistment of men aged 18 to 25 years, who had a “limited fit” status before the changes in the law. At the same time, the law allows those who have already been mobilized and are in this category to be sent to the reserves. It was noted that men aged 18-25 could now be called up for service only with permission.

The European Union has approved the provision of 35 billion euros to Ukraine

The Council of the European Union approved a package of financial loans to Ukraine worth up to 35 billion euros, which is part of the bloc’s obligations to implement the relevant G7 decision on the fixed assets of the Russian Federation. The EU plans to make the funds available to Ukraine from 2024, and the debt will be repaid over a maximum of 45 years. This assistance is aimed at immediately meeting Ukraine’s urgent funding needs, which have grown due to Russia’s increased aggression against Ukraine.

Germany increases military aid to Ukraine

Germany plans to transfer military aid packages worth 1.4 billion euros to Ukraine by the end of 2024. We are talking about new anti-aircraft systems, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks and five- six counts of artillery shells.

Lithuania allocated another 13 million euros for the reconstruction of Ukraine

The Lithuanian government has approved the allocation of an additional 13 million euros to the Lithuanian Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Fund. These funds will be used to finance projects to restore Ukraine. The total amount of military, financial and humanitarian assistance provided by Lithuania to Ukraine since the beginning of the war has reached almost 1.5 billion euros.

The mandatory evacuation zone has been extended to the Sumy region

A decision was made to forcibly evacuate children and their families from several settlements in the Sumy region. We are talking about the mandated forced evacuation of 497 children from 101 settlements in the Sumy region (90 settlements in the Sumy region and 11 settlements in the Konotop region).

The Verkhovna Rada generally approved the bill on amendments to the criminal law related to the ratification of the Rome Charter. According to the adopted law, criminal liability will be provided for crimes against humanity.
