War Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s speech in Strasbourg was interrupted by cries about the “sale” of Hungary to Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.

    .

This was done by a man who ran up to the desk of the Hungarian Prime Minister, threw fake money and exclaimed: “For what amount did you betray the country, Mr. Prime Minister?”

The attacker, a politician from the opposition party Marton Njekicki, was prevented by security. Viktor Orban was not injured.

According to Hungarian media, the offender gained access to the event thanks to a pass issued by an opposition MEP.

At that press conference, Orbán said that neither Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky nor Russian President Vladimir Putin “are interested in ending the war.”

According to him, both leaders are convinced that time is working in their favor, so they do not strive for compromise or peace.

They don’t want a ceasefire, they want to fight, and this is bad for Europe,” Orban emphasized, adding that he himself favors an early end to the conflict.
