At the Egyptian resort of Hurghada, a shark attacked a girl and bit her arm and leg. This was announced on Friday, July 1, according to the Baza Telegram channel.

As indicated, the tourist is an Austrian citizen. After the attack, he was rushed to the hospital.

According to media reports, the incident took place near the Sahl Hasheesh resort. The girl was pulled ashore and given to doctors. According to the unconfirmed report, the victim died from his injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities banned all water activities from the Sahl Hasheesh area to Makadi Bay for three days.

It will be recalled that in October 2020, a citizen of Ukraine and his 12-year-old son were victims of a shark attack at the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. The mother sustained a deep wound. Missing part of the child’s arm below the elbow.
