“This morning, the White House announced that due to the predicted path and severity of Hurricane Milton, President Biden has postponed his planned trip to Germany and Angola,” Miller said.
It is known that Secretary of State Blinken planned to join the presidential delegation in Germany after his visit to Laos. However, due to the postponement of this visit, he will return from Laos to Washington.
Earlier, the press secretary of the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre, said that Joe Biden postponed his trip to Germany due to Hurricane Milton.
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz commented on Biden’s decision to postpone his trip. According to him, he expected the visit to be postponed.
