The route to neighboring Moldova was laid out for the men of the telegram channel administrator for 120-160 thousand hryvnias from each “client”.
Border guards detained three groups of violators who, for more than 72 hours, tried to reach the state border on foot in the Podolsk district of the Odessa region. The State Border Security Service reported this on Tuesday, October 8.
“The route to neighboring Moldova was laid out for the men of the telegram channel administrator, who planned to receive from 120 to 160 thousand hryvnias from each of them for help in crossing the border,” the message said.
The detainees arrived at the collection point in the Vinnytsia region and were divided into small groups of 3, 5 and 6 people to remain less visible to the border guards. However, UAV operators with thermal imagers detected all intruders.
“One of the groups of men failed to stop in time at the request of the border guards, so pre-emptive shots were fired upwards,” the border guards said.
In relation to all 14 violators, protocols on administrative violations were made under the following articles:
-
Illegal crossing or illegal attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
-
Malicious disobedience of a legal order or request by a military serviceman or employee of the State Border Service of Ukraine (Article 185-10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The cases have been sent to court.
As we already wrote, two men who tried to illegally cross the border with Hungary were detained by border guards from the Mukachevo detachment.
Let’s recall that the case of an officer of one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his accomplices, who organized a scheme for the illegal transportation of draft dodgers to the state border of Ukraine, was brought to court
