On the morning of October 7, users began to complain about the unavailability of Internet broadcasting of VGTRK holding channels – Russia-1, Russia 24, Culture, Vesti FM and others. Russian media and TG channels reported it.
It is noted that as a result of the hacker attack, online broadcasting and internal services do not work, even without Internet or telephony.
According to sources, all data from the servers, including backups, were deleted. The problem is very serious and recovery will take time.
At the same time, the hacker attack does not affect VGTRK’s digital television broadcasting.
Let’s recall that cyber specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine attacked the financial sector of the Russian Federation. In particular, Alfa Bank, Otkritie Bank, and the telecommunications operator Rostelecom fell under cyber attacks.
In the past, the Russian banks Rosselkhozbank and PJSC Moscow Credit Bank were subject to a hacker attack.
