On the night of Sunday, October 6, the Russians attacked Kyiv with attack drones, and dropped guided bombs on Kharkov. Explosions were heard in both cities.
The mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, said that Russia was attacking the city with UABs. He later added that there was no destruction.
“Back then, the arrivals took place in a forest inside the city, so far, there have been no casualties or destruction,” Terekhov wrote.
Explosions were also heard in Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned about the UAV attack.
“Air defense forces are working in Kyiv Enemy UAVs are approaching the capital from different directions,” Klitschko wrote.
Currently, an air raid alert has been declared in all the eastern and parts of the northern region.
We remind you that today the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans visited Kharkov. He stressed that the allies should allow Kyiv to use weapons on Russian territory, as this is the only way to protect cities from airstrikes.
It was also reported that last night all the Russian drones seen in the airspace over Kiev and in the suburbs neutralized the air defenses.
