In this region, he held a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The main issue was the protection of Ukrainian infrastructure, energy and air defense. The head of state informed about this on Facebook.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky, the Air Force Command, the East Command and the Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk reported at Headquarters.
In particular, the commander-in-chief reported on the general situation at the front and difficult directions, the progress of the Kursk operation, the arrival of equipment and shells at the front and the recruitment of brigades.
The President also heard from Energy Minister German Galushchenko. Representatives of state energy companies and heads of the entire vertical between the government and communities were also present.
There is a solution to support the region; there will be separate meetings on the energy sector of the Sumy region and our other border regions. Before winter, the most important thing is a reserve of strength,” Zelensky emphasized.
