Russian invaders yesterday, October 3, carried out a drone attack on a power facility, as a result of which part of the Sumy region was cut off.
Thanks to the immediate implementation of emergency restoration work, the power supply was restored, but some time is still needed to completely eliminate the consequences of the shelling, the Ukrenergo press service reports.
In order to prevent overloading of equipment in the main network, emergency shutdowns were forced to be introduced at 10.25 in the Sumy and Poltava regions. The cancellation of the GAO will be announced additionally, the company noted.
It is noted that, in general, electricity consumption in Ukraine is growing. Today, October 4, its level as of 9.30 was 1.9% higher than the previous day – Thursday, October 3.
Yesterday the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was at the same level as the previous day – Wednesday, October 2.
During the day, there will be imports of electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Moldova with a total volume of 4,099 MW/h, with a maximum power of up to 949 MW in certain hours.
Let us remind you that yesterday in the first half of the day emergency shutdowns were introduced in parts of the Kharkov and Poltava regions.
