As of this morning, due to fighting and other reasons, 528 settlements have completely or partially lost power.

Emergency power outages were introduced in Sumy and Poltava regions. Ukrenergo reported this on Friday, October 4.

Energy workers recalled that yesterday, due to the attack of Russian drones on an energy facility, part of the Sumy region was cut off. Power supply restored. But it still takes time to completely eliminate the consequences of peeling.

“To prevent overloading of equipment in the main network, emergency shutdowns were forced to be introduced in Sumy and Poltava regions at 10:25,” the message said.

In total, due to fighting and other reasons, 528 settlements were fully or partially de-energized this morning.

In particular, due to the fighting, there were new power outages in Donetsk, Kharkov, Chernihiv and Kirovograd regions.

In general, power consumption increases. This morning the level is 1.9% higher than Thursday.

“During the hours of maximum consumption, there remains a lack of electricity in the energy system, therefore, it is better to use powerful electrical appliances during the effective operation of the solar power plant – from 10:00 to 16:00 .” say the power engineers.

We remind you that on the morning of October 3, emergency shutdowns were also introduced in some regions of Ukraine due to Russian attacks.

On Tuesday, it was reported that a unit at a nuclear power plant was connected ahead of schedule in Ukraine.
