In 2025, within the framework of cooperation between the CSG and Ukrainian armored vehicles, 100 thousand ammunition will be produced.
Ukrainian Armor will work with Czech arms manufacturer Czechoslovak Group (CSG) to produce 155mm artillery ammunition in Ukraine. This was reported by the CSG press service.
It was noted that the production of 155-mm artillery shells within the framework of this cooperation will begin next year.
According to the agreement, CSG will provide the Ukrainian manufacturer with the necessary know-how and assistance to start the production of 155 mm artillery shells directly in Ukraine.
According to plans, in 2025, within the framework of cooperation between CSG and Ukrainian armored vehicles, 100 thousand ammunition will be produced, and in 2026 annual production will exceed 300 thousand units.
Ammunition production will take place in the Czech Republic and Ukraine to increase and accelerate production for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and reduce the cost of shells. The creation will cover several types of large caliber ammunition.
“The signing of an agreement on the localization of production of tanks and artillery ammunition produced by CSG in Ukraine is due, first of all, to the fact that we understand how important it is for Ukraine to produce military equipment in its territory,” said CSG Commercial Director Richard Kubena.
We remind you that more than a third of the 500 thousand ammunition that should be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces within the framework of the Czech initiative by the end of the year is already in Ukraine.
