In Poltava, the number of victims of the missile attack on the villages on September 3 increased to 59.

    .

The head of the Poltava Regional Administration, Philip Pronin, announced this in his Telegram channel.

Exactly a month has passed since the terrible tragedy in Poltava. Unfortunately, another person injured in a missile attack on September 3 died in hospital today. The number of victims of the cynical attack by the Russian army has increased to 59. Sincere condolences to family and friends, he noted.

Since September, Russian invaders launched an attack with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles on one of the educational institutions in Poltava. The hit was on the territory of the Institute of Communications and a neighboring hospital.

Rescue operations at the site of the missile strike ended on September 5. Then the number of victims was 55 people, another 328 were injured (of which 38 were in serious condition, 27 in intensive care).

This tragedy became the largest for the Poltava region in terms of the number of victims and injured during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
