Russian invaders continue to militarize youth in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine by opening military history classes.
One of these classes was opened at the Lugansk boarding lyceum with the participation of the deputy chairman of the Russian military historical society, Nikolai Ovseenko. This was reported today, October 3, on the website of the Center for National Resistance.
This is the second class of its kind – the first was launched on September 1 in Blagoveshchensk.
In such classes, young people will study military history, tactical medicine, drone control and information warfare. The goal is to train new personnel to support Russian propaganda and serve in the occupying army, the CNS said.
It is noted that the occupiers plan to open similar classes in other cities of the Lugansk region – in particular, in Krasnodon, Stanitsa Luganskaya and Krasny Luch.
These actions are a gross violation of children’s rights and international law, because the occupying authorities use education to promote and train future soldiers, forcing young people to participate in armed conflicts imposed by Russia, the CNS notes and calls for reporting collaborators of the corresponding anonymous chat. -bot.
