Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital will not be renovated this year. A tender has been announced for the winter maintenance of the facility. This was reported by Our Money.
It was noted that on September 30, the hospital announced simplified procurement for emergency work worth UAH 9.51 million and technical supervision of them worth UAH 132,000. The deadline for submitting tender proposals is October 9-10. The work and technical supervision will be financed by the Tabletochka Charitable Foundation. The main emergency work to protect the hospital building from external influences must be completed before November 15.
According to the acting General Director of Okhmatdyt Alexander Urin, work will be carried out to close the openings of windows and doors that were destroyed in the missile attack on July 8 of this year.
“We also have to shut down the utilities that were destroyed. And we have to make sure that this building survives this winter, because we continue to provide medical care here,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Health, the first phase of the instrumental evaluation required for the procurement of immediate emergency response work has now been completed. Based on its results, NIIproektrekonstruktsia provided technical reports, estimate documentation, defective reports, and expert evaluation (positive) to Okhmatdet hospital for priority emergency response work. An expert assessment of the documentation was carried out by the State Enterprise Ukrgosexpertiza.
We remind you that on July 8, the Russians launched a massive attack on Ukraine. One of the targets was the Okhmatdyt hospital in Kyiv. Two people died in the establishment and 30 were injured, including 10 children.
As Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said, Ukraine will completely rebuild the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv, and work is already starting.
It was also reported that the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital received more than 800 million hryvnias for reconstruction after the Russian missile attack.
