In Sumy on Thursday morning there were problems with light. The head of the military administration of the city of Sumy, Alexey Drozdenko, wrote about this in Telegram on October 3.
“We found out the reason for the power outage,” said Drozdenko.
Later, he reported that there is now a temporary emergency shutdown in Sumy and Sumy region. Energy workers are doing everything to eliminate the emergency situation.

According to local OVA information, smoke appeared in Sumy due to enemy shelling – dry grass caught fire. State Emergency Service units are working to localize and put out the fires.
