Legendary rock band Pink Floyd has reached an agreement with Sony to sell its music catalog, brand and name, ending years of misunderstanding between the members.

British rock band Pink Floyd has reached an agreement with Sony to sell its music catalog, name and brand for nearly $400 million. At the same time, the group retained the rights to write songs. The Guardian reported this.

This agreement was the result of a long dispute between the surviving members of the team about the details of the sales. By 2022, Pink Floyd is reportedly planning to sell up to $500 million worth of its assets. However, following the controversial statements of bassist Roger Waters in an interview with Rolling Stone, where he expressed conflicting opinions about Israel, Ukraine, Russia and the United States, some buyers postponed the agreement.

Pink Floyd’s catalog remains one of the most important in modern music. Includes legendary albums such as The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals.

It was previously reported that rock band Okean Elzy has released a new album, That Day, the first in eight years.
