The Rehab4U initiative will help create a sustainable inclusive rehabilitation system and expand access to rehabilitation services.
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will provide an initial $13 million as part of the Rehabilitation for Ukraine initiative, which aims to support physical rehabilitation systems. The project will work in 15 regions. This was reported on the USAID website on October 2.
It was noted that “the new initiative of USAID Rehabilitation for Ukraine – or Rehab4U for short – will help expand access to rehabilitation services and assistive technologies, and will also promote the inclusion and active participation of people with disabilities in lives of their communities and the country’s recovery processes.”
The Rehab4U initiative will also help create a sustainable inclusive rehabilitation system.
We remind you that the administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Samantha Power, arrived in Kyiv on a visit today, October 2.
As reported, Ukraine recently received a $3.9 billion non-repayable grant from the United States through the World Bank.
