The investigation says the suspects allegedly committed 13 “sabotages” on rail and energy infrastructure facilities.
The Second Eastern District Military Court in Chita sentenced 13 people to terms ranging from 4 to 23 years in the case of so-called “sabotage and preparation for a terrorist attack.” This was reported by the press service of the court.
According to the investigators, two years ago the convicts committed 13 “sabotages” on railway and energy infrastructure facilities in Moscow and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as a result of which a locomotive, supply cabinets of electricity and transformer substations were allegedly damaged.
Investigators believe that the suspects planned to set fire to the multi-role fighters in one of the military units in Primorye.
The prosecution argued that “a person who was not identified by the preliminary investigation authorities” organized a “criminal group” to “destabilize the activities of the authorities of the Russian Federation and influence their decision to stop the participation in a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
As we have already written, a court in the Russian Federation found a Russian citizen guilty of high treason who planned to join the ranks of the Freedom of Russia Legion (LSR). The court sentenced him to 10 years in prison in a maximum security colony.
Additionally, in Russia, a man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to poison military personnel.
