The number of attacks on the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions was equal to 25 assaults each. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled more than 90 attacks per day in the east.
The General Staff reported this in its report on October 1.
The greatest concentration of Russian attacks in the Pokrovsky direction was near Mirolyubovka, Elizavetovka and Lisovka, where the Russian military actively used aviation.
In the Kurakhovsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled attacks in the areas of the settlements of Tsukurino, Gornyak, Georgievka, Konstantinovka and Ekaterinovka.
In the Vremiv direction, according to updated information, the Russian military carried out an unsuccessful attack on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Epiphany. The General Staff did not comment on the situation in the city of Ugledar.
On the evening of October 1, the 72nd Brigade denied Ugledar’s complete delight. Two military brigades told Public that as of the evening of October 1, certain parts of the city were under the control of the Defense Forces, but most were under the control of Russian troops.
The brigade did not receive an order to leave the city,” the source said.
The DeepState project previously reported that Russian troops occupied Ugledar. Analysts made the publication, in particular, against the backdrop of videos published during October 1 by the occupiers’ public pages: these were footage of the Russian military raising flags on buildings in Vugledar.
