Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran’s missile attack on Israel failed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran, which launched a massive ballistic missile attack on Israel late Tuesday, had “made a huge mistake” and would be punished for its actions. He said this on Tuesday, October 1, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers for Security, which took place shortly after the rocket attacks.
He stressed that the regime in Iran does not understand Israel’s determination to defend itself and respond to hostile actions and pointed to the leaders of terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah, who, he said, “do not understand this determination.”
“The regime in Tehran probably doesn’t fully understand this either, but they will. We will act according to the principle: ‘Whoever attacks us will be attacked.’ This applies to anyone who threatens Israel, wherever they are – in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria or Iran itself,” the Prime Minister said.
He also called on world states to unite against Iran, calling it a country with a dark regime.
The politician noted that the struggle between tyranny and freedom is becoming clearer and called on the international community to side with Israel.
“Israel is advancing, and the axis of evil is retreating. We will do everything necessary to achieve the goals of the war, first of all, the return of our hostages and ensure the security and future of our country,” stressed by Netanyahu.
We remind you that on the night of October 1, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israel. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the attack was in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and that if Israel responded it would “receive a heavy blow.”
