“I see clearly that Iran is a destabilizing, dangerous force in the Middle East. I will always ensure that Israel is capable of defending itself against Iran and Iranian-backed terrorist groups,” he said.
He added that US President Joe Biden called an urgent meeting on the situation in Israel and ordered the US military to help the state of Israel shoot down Iran’s missiles.
Earlier, the Pentagon responded to the Iranian attack and said US ships helped Israel shoot down Iranian missiles.
