The activity of Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups on the Ukrainian border has decreased, but not stopped.
The activity of Russian sabotage and investigative groups on the territory of Ukraine has recently decreased. This was announced by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, Andrei Demchenko, on Tuesday, October 1, during a telethon.
He clarified that the border guards of Ukraine hardly record attempts of Russian saboteurs to attack Defense Forces positions near the Russian border.
“As for the attempts of the Russian DRGs to enter our territory, this activity has decreased significantly compared to previous times,” said Demchenko.
At the same time, Andrei Demchenko said that the invaders are trying to continue some sabotage activities, in particular, there are enemy attempts to mine some areas.
The SBU and the National Police detained a sabotage group that, on instructions from the Russian special services, set fire to the facilities of Ukrzaliznytsia near the border.
It was earlier reported that a UOC-MP priest was in jail, preparing a strike in the military echelons. Two Russian military intelligence agents were detained, but the main defendant was a Russian citizen, the rector of one of the Kharkov churches of the MP UOC.
