Israel says Iran fired 180 ballistic missiles. No deaths or injuries were reported.
Israel will respond to an Iranian missile attack on the country. The IDF is on high alert for defense and offense. The Times of Israel reported this on Tuesday, October 1.
“We are on high alert for defense and offense, we will protect the citizens of Israel. These rocket attacks will have consequences. We have plans and we will act at the time and place we chosen,” said IDF Secretary Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.
According to him, while there is no further threat to Israel from Iran, this indicates that the rocket attacks have ended.
“During the defense, we carried out many interceptions. There were some consequences in the center and in the southern areas of the country. At this stage, we are still analyzing the attack, but we do not know anything about the casualties,” said of Hagari.
The IDF released a video of Iranian missiles flying over the Old City of Jerusalem, a holy site for Muslims, Christians and Jews.

We remind you that on the night of October 1, Iran launched hundreds of missiles at Israel. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the attack was in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and that if Israel responded it would “receive a heavy blow.”
