The President warns against the consequences of further escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.
During the Warsaw Security Forum, the president noted that such a scenario would be negative not only for this region, but also for the entire West, which is focused on supporting Ukraine.
Unfortunately, the struggle for resources will increase. In particular, given the situation in the Middle East, which is on the verge of war. In the worst-case scenario, further escalation of the situation in that region would be an additional burden for the West. However, remember that the means of supporting Ukraine do not yet have a human dimension for us. These are only material resources,” said the President of Poland.

He also added that the EU’s potential should be used in the process of rebuilding Ukraine and creating long-term foundations for its economic and social development.
In the political dimension, it is extremely important to continue the policy of expanding the Union again to Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, as well as our allies: Turkey, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania. These are important and ambitious tasks, which I hope will also be achieved by the new European Commission, says Duda.
