The Harris campaign says Republicans are trying to sow distrust in the election so they can blame the system for unfairness if they lose.
The Republican Party is actively preparing for a legal challenge to the results of the US presidential election. This assumption was presented by the team of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. It was reported by Reuters.
Republicans have often filed lawsuits aimed at restricting access to voting, citing the need to prevent fraud. At the same time, Democrats are going to court to ensure maximum voting accessibility.
In Arizona, for example, an organization created by Republican leader Donald Trump’s adviser Stephen Miller offers judges the ability to overturn election results due to “irregularities” of local officials. The lawsuit seeks to call runoff elections in districts where Harris has a slight lead over Trump.
In Michigan, Republicans are trying to restrict voter registration and the use of mobile voting stations. In Nevada, they require the removal of ineligible voters from voting rolls, despite the expiration of the deadline for such checks.
In Pennsylvania, the GOP wants to tighten rules for voting by mail and limit the ability to correct errors on ballots. A state court ruled that incorrectly dated ballots should not be counted, a victory for Republicans.
Overall, the Republican National Committee is involved in more than 120 lawsuits in 26 states. Experts say this could undermine confidence in the electoral process.

We remind you that Harris is ahead of Trump in six “shaky states”, where the outcome of the election largely depends.
