Naubil Kaouk is the commander of Hezbollah’s preventive security unit and a senior member of the central council.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the removal of another Hezbollah commander, Naubil Kauk. He was killed in an airstrike in the Lebanese capital Beirut. The Times of Israel reported this on Sunday, September 29.
According to the IDF, Kauk is the commander of Hezbollah’s preventive security unit and a senior member of the group’s central council.
Kauk is considered close to Hezbollah’s leadership and has been involved in attacks on Israel, including in recent days.
Naubil Kaouk joined Hezbollah in the 1980s and served as deputy leader and later head of the southern Lebanon executive council, as well as deputy chairman of the executive council.
He was killed last night in airstrikes in the Dahiya district of southern Beirut, where Hezbollah has its central headquarters.
Let’s recall that on September 28, Hezbollah officially confirmed the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah. The IDF said Nasrallah was killed in an airstrike on September 27 in Beirut.
