A plane crash involving Russian military personnel occurred in Pakistan.
On Saturday, September 28, a Mi-8 helicopter of a private company from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province crashed in the north of the country. The aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff in the North Waziristan region, near the border with Afghanistan. This was reported by Reuters.
So far it is known that there were about 14 passengers in this helicopter, including pilots from the Russian Federation. At least six people died. Eight more people were hospitalized with injuries.
Let us remind you that at the end of August in Kamchatka, a Russian Mi-8 helicopter disappeared from radar after taking off from a site near the Vachkazhets volcano. Contact with the crew was lost. There were 22 people on board – three crew members and 19 passengers.
