A Russian agent set fire to military and volunteer vehicles in Uzhgorod.
Russian intelligence services recruited a 21-year-old migrant from the Vinnitsa region who was looking for quick money. Enemies offered him from 1 thousand dollars. up to 1 thousand 600 dollars for arson with video confirmation. The detainee fulfilled all the conditions twice, but never received payment. The police and prosecutor’s office of the Transcarpathian region reported this on September 26.
The attacker was exposed on the night of September 24, when he set fire to a UAZ car used by a military man. A week ago he burned two Nissan X-Trail SUVs. One of the jeeps belonged to the local Red Cross Society, and the other belonged to a military personnel.
The young man has already been informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property) and Part 1 of Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The defendant faces up to 10 years in prison.
Let us remind you that in Kyiv, a 16-year-old student set fire to a car that volunteers purchased for the military. He himself came from the Cherkasy region to carry out a series of arson attacks on military vehicles in the capital, and for a “test” task he burned an SUV that volunteers purchased for one of the combat brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
