Russian troops continue to storm Ukrainian defense positions at the front.
In total, since the beginning of today, 106 military clashes have occurred. The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions, where almost half of all battles took place. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the enemy carried out 26 assault operations, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back the onslaught of the invaders. We managed to repulse 24 attacks, two more battles are ongoing.
The enemy also attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Kurakhovsky direction 23 times. Eighteen attempts to advance have been repulsed, five are still ongoing.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has advanced 18 times in the Kupyansk direction. There are currently five ongoing Russian attacks. Another 11 military clashes took place in the Liman direction.
In addition, the Ukrainian military entered into battles with enemies in the Kharkov, Seversky, Kramatorsk, Toretsky, Vremivsky and Orekhovsky directions.
Let us remind you that Ukrainian experts believe that there are only a few days, and possibly weeks, left before the Ukrainian Armed Forces withdraw from Vugledar in the Donetsk region. They also consider the threat of a cordon of Ukrainian forces in Vuhledar high. And the fighters of the 72nd SZU brigade officially denied their withdrawal from Vugledar, which some media outlets had previously written about.
