A traitor serviceman was detained by the SBU in Kharkov.
The Russian agent turned out to be a recently mobilized 45-year-old local resident, who was remotely recruited by enemy military intelligence in August. On the instructions of the occupiers, the defendant was supposed to adjust an air strike on one of the units of his brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was reported by the press center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The curators promised the criminal “shelter” in Russia. After fleeing Ukraine, the traitor planned to join the Russian army and fight against Ukraine.
To direct fire, he marked the necessary locations on a Google map and sent the corresponding screenshot to the Russian special services. The agent also conducted additional reconnaissance near the combat positions of the Ukrainian air defense, which the occupiers hoped to “bypass” during the missile attack.
According to the instructions of the enemy military intelligence, before the enemy shelling, the traitor had to arrive at a certain place on the front line, and the occupiers had to create a “corridor” for him to cross the front line.
However, the SBU detained the perpetrator at the stage of preparing to escape. He has already been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 (high treason committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The detainee faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Let us recall that on September 9, the Security Service of Ukraine announced the arrest in Kyiv of an agent of the Russian Main Intelligence Directorate, who, allegedly, was engaged in installing “video traps” for online adjustment of strikes on Kyiv.
