Russia’s military losses in the war with Ukraine have exceeded 645 thousand people.
In particular, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has turned 1,400 invaders into “cargo 200.” And 16 enemy tanks, 40 armored vehicles, 61 artillery systems, three air defense systems, and one MLRS have become scrap metal. Also, 73 vehicles and 10 special equipment have been destroyed. The General Staff reported this on September 24.
The enemy’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022 to September 24, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel – about 645 thousand 150 (+1 thousand 400) people,
- tanks – 8 thousand 800 (+16) units,
- combat armored vehicles – 17 thousand 292 (+40) units,
- artillery systems – 18 thousand 475 (+61) units,
- MLRS – 1 thousand 198 (+1) units,
- air defense systems – 952 (+3) units,
- aircraft – 369 (+0) units,
- helicopters – 328 (+0) units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level – 15 thousand 764 (+65),
- cruise missiles – 2 thousand 595 (+0),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0) units,
- submarines – 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 25 thousand 175 (+73) units,
- special equipment – 3 thousand 155 (+10)
