On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met with Secretary General of the Organization of American States Luis Almagro. This was reported by the press service of the head of state on Monday, September 30.
“First of all, I want to thank you for participating in the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland.
During the meeting, the parties discussed how to maintain the unity of the world community for the sake of peace, as well as the effectiveness of international efforts.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Peace Formula. Zelensky also shared plans for the second Peace Summit.
Let us remind you that the day before the President of Ukraine began his visit to the United States. In New York, Zelensky met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
