Film starring Marco Pigossi receives praise from international portals

The news portal Hugo Gloss recently released the subtitled trailer for the film “High Tide”a Hollywood production directed by the Italian filmmakerMarco Calvani and starring the Brazilian actorMarco Pigossi, who is also your spouse.

The film will premiere in Brazil on the following day: October 5thduring the prestigious Rio Festival. The central narrative of “Maré Alta” focuses on Lourenço, played by Pigossi, a Brazilian immigrant with an expiring visa who finds himself devastated after being unexpectedly abandoned by her boyfriendthe American in Provincetown.

Amidst the anguish and uncertainty about his future, Lourenço meets Maurice, a nurse played by James Bland. The connection between them blossoms as they realize that they both share feelings of displacement.

The drama received mixed reviews. Siddhant Adlakha, of Variety described it as “a sparse yet intimate drama”, highlighting the impressive performance of Pigossi which gives cohesion to the film even with its structural flaws.
