In Zaporozhye, 17 people, including one child, were injured as a result of Russian airstrikes overnight.
27 people were rescued. Four women are in hospital in a moderate condition. This was reported today, September 23, by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
It took rescuers about 40 minutes to evacuate people from the blocked apartments. The emergency workers used special equipment to cut off the front door and lead the residents to a safe place, the report says.
It is noted that in total it took firefighters about three hours to eliminate the consequences of the night shelling of the city.
As a result of the shelling:
- windows and facades of apartment buildings and structures were damaged;
- a car and a balcony of one of the apartments caught fire with a total area of 10 sq.
Emergency work was also carried out to dismantle the destroyed structures of the entrance to the apartments.
