On Monday, Zelensky will speak at the Future Summit at the UN headquarters, on Tuesday he will participate in a UN Security Council meeting on the Ukrainian issue, and on Wednesday he is expected to speak at a general debate at the UN General Assembly.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky arrived in New York on Sunday to participate in events as part of the UN General Assembly’s high-level week. Ukrinform reported this on Sunday, September 22.
The head of state has a series of bilateral meetings planned with heads of states and international organizations, as well as heads of American companies to meet Ukraine’s energy needs.

President Vladimir Zelensky, while on the road, recorded a video message in which he emphasized that this fall will decide the future of this war.
“Together with our partners, we can strengthen our position necessary for our success – a joint success for a truly just world,” he added.
He confirmed that in the coming days he will meet with the leaders of the Global South, the G7, Europe and the chairmen of international organizations – many that help unite the world.

“We will also have important meetings with representatives of the United States and a real victory for Ukraine and international law – that’s what we need,” the president said.
Let’s recall that despite the opposition of Russia, the UN reform plan developed under German leadership was approved at the Summit in New York.
In the past, the United States has initiated major changes at the United Nations.
Subsequently, Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that the reform of the UN Security Council should include the expansion of membership, the abolition of the veto power for any state and the expulsion of any member involved in an “illegal war” such as Russian invasion of Ukraine.
