Ukrainian pilots completed training in France

Since March, the French Air Force has been training Ukrainian pilots to carry out operational missions in Ukrainian skies.

The first group of Ukrainian pilots completed training in France. This was announced by the Joint Chiefs of Staff of France on the social network X on Friday, September 20.

“France has finished training the first group of Ukrainian pilots on Alpha Jet aircraft,” the statement said.

It is indicated that since March of this year, the French Air Force has been training Ukrainian pilots to carry out operational tasks in the defense of Ukraine.

The Alpha Jet is a third-generation light attack jet and training aircraft jointly developed by the German company Dornier and the French concern Dassault-Breguet. Year of production: 1973-1991. A total of 480 of these aircraft were produced. The main operators are Germany and France.
