Users of the Ukrainian operator have begun to complain en masse about the failure. Some cannot make a call, and some have no mobile connection at all. Some subscribers also report a lack of Internet. The corresponding comments appeared under the Kyivstar post on the Facebook page.
The failure in the Kyivstar network is observed in the Kharkiv region, Cherkassy, Krivoy Rog, Chernigov, Zaporozhye, etc.
The mobile operator has not made any statements yet.
Let us recall that last winter Kyivstar was subjected to a powerful hacker attack. The attackers destroyed 40% of the mobile operator’s infrastructure.
The Security Service of Ukraine stated that Russian hackers penetrated the Kyivstar system in May 2023 and were able to steal subscriber data before the large-scale attack that took place on December 12.
