Sheinbaum plans to adhere to a policy of non-interference in foreign affairs and supports the “peaceful resolution of conflicts.”
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum recently declined an invitation from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to visit Kyiv, citing the need to focus on “internal affairs.” Fuser News wrote this on Wednesday, September 18.
According to Sheinbaum, his main task is to solve internal issues.
“Here is our responsibility. We will go to some international events that we consider important, but we will not travel a lot,” said the newly elected president of Mexico.
Sheinbaum plans to adhere to a policy of non-interference in foreign affairs and supports the “peaceful resolution of conflicts.” In fact, the policy continued the trend of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s predecessor.
It was previously known that Mexico will not detain Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on a possible visit to the inauguration of the new head of state, Claudia Sheinbaum.
Mexico also invited Putin to the inauguration of the country’s president-elect.
