Russian invaders have declared a state of emergency in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.
The reason for this was the fires raging on the territory of seven administrative-territorial units, the press service of the Luhansk OVA reported today, September 18.
The worst situation is around Antratsyt and Stanitsa Luhanska. Over the past 24 hours, more than 80 fires have broken out. The number of burned households is already in the hundreds, – the OVA emphasizes.
It is noted that the smell of burning reached Lugansk.
But there is a life of its own there – recently, when it was necessary to evacuate people from neighboring villages, a bicycle rental point was opened for city residents. And one of the Russian theaters, probably as an aid, brought the play “Hedgehog in the Fog” to smog-ridden Lugansk, – the OVA added.
Videos have appeared on social networks showing, in particular, that firefighting helicopters were brought in to fight the fire in the Stanitsa Luhanska area.
