War is not only about weapons, but also about economics. This is why financial aid is so important to Ukraine.
Long-term financial commitments from partners will give Kyiv confidence in success and will be able to protect common values. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga announced this on Tuesday, September 17, addressing his allies, according to the department’s Facebook post.
“The budget process is currently ongoing in several countries, we call on partners to provide long-term financial assistance to Ukraine, as stated in our Kyiv Compact security agreements, gives confidence that we will win and. protect common values and security,” Siga said.
According to him, the war is not only weapons, but also the economy. This is why financial aid is so important to Ukraine.
“Every dollar of non-military support frees up one of our own dollars to strengthen defense. Regardless of the cost of supporting Ukraine, the price of Russia’s victory will be higher,” the minister emphasized.
It was previously reported that the European Union has given Ukraine aid worth 118 billion euros since the start of the all-out war unleashed by Russia.
It is also reported that the White House is currently working on a significant aid package for Ukraine, which will include several opportunities. It is planned to be announced by the end of this month.
