“Russia has launched a massive drone strike in Sumy. There are consequences, they are already working to eliminate them,” said the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
“Konotop (Sumy Region) – again explosions, the light has disappeared slightly,” the monitoring channels reported.
The mayor of Konotop, Artem Semenikhin, said that the city is switching to emergency power supply.
“The water utility is connecting the generators, the water will be provided according to the schedules that will be provided later,” he said.
All Invincibility Points in the city will open at 6:30 am.
Semenikhin also called on residents of Konotop who have weapons and want to shoot down enemy UAVs not to do so over the city.
Sumy OVA published information on social networks about what to do when the light goes out. They also added that the air defense forces are actively conducting air defense and countering enemy attacks.
We remind you that as a result of the Russian attack on energy facilities and civilian infrastructure in Konotop, 13 people were injured.
Earlier, Russian troops attacked the village of Krasnopolye in the Sumy region using UABs, as a result of which a woman was killed and four people were injured, including a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy.
