Moldova has declared a day of mourning for those killed near Kiev

Moldova strongly condemns crimes against humanity in Ukraine, Chisinau said.

Moldova condemned the atrocities of the occupiers in Bucha and declared a day of mourning for those killed in Ukraine. About it on his page at Twitter on Sunday, April 3, written by the President of the country, Maia Sandu.

“It is impossible to look at the atrocities in Bucha and other Ukrainian cities. I am shocked at the atrocities in the civilian population,” Sandu wrote.

He stressed that Moldova strongly condemns crimes against humanity, this “illegal and unreasonable war against Ukraine.”

“Moldova has declared tomorrow a day of mourning for all those who died in Ukraine,” he added.

Recall, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that crimes committed by Russia in Bucha and other suburbs of Kyiv should be called acts of genocide and investigated as such.

It was previously reported that Moldova will remain neutral and will not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation.
