Ukraine is trying to end the war by de-occupying its legitimate territories and restoring territorial integrity.

The war in Ukraine must end while respecting Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders. UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric said this on Monday, September 16, Ukrinform reports.

“I will only repeat our position, that we want this war to end in accordance with international law, in accordance with the UN Charter and in accordance with the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” he said.

According to him, the response of the comment was “not a reaction” to the politicians’ statements, but the position of the UN leadership.

It was previously reported that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will address the UN General Assembly on September 25. World leaders will meet in New York to discuss further support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression, in particular, the possibility of using long-range weapons against targets on Russian territory.

It will be remembered that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that he condemns attacks – wherever they occur – on civilians and infrastructure.
