Agricultural producers in the Vinnytsia region lead the grain harvest, threshing 2.1 million hectares.
Ukrainian farmers have already threshed 39.06 million tons of new crops collected in an area of 10.9 million hectares. The press service of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy reported this on Monday, September 16.
Thus, until now, 30.08 million tons of grain, 8.2 million tons of oilseeds and 741.5 thousand tons of sugar beets have been harvested. In particular:

wheat – 21.8 million tons were threshed in an area of 4.9 million hectares,

barley – 5.5 million tons were threshed on 1.4 million hectares,

peas – 461.6 thousand tons were threshed in an area of 212.2 thousand hectares,

millet – 110.4 thousand tons were threshed on 56.8 thousand hectares,
-
buckwheat – 88.2 thousand tons were threshed on 56.2 thousand hectares,
-
rapeseed – 3.4 million tons of seeds were threshed on 1.3 million hectares,
-
sunflower – 2.97 million tons of seeds were threshed on 1.5 million hectares,
-
soybeans – 1.8 million tons of seeds were threshed on 909.5 thousand hectares,
-
corn – 1.1 million tons of seeds were threshed in an area of 255.3 thousand hectares.
It was noted that the agricultural producers of the Vinnytsia region are leading the grain harvest, threshing 2.1 million hectares. In terms of yield, farmers of the Khmelnitsky region lead with an indicator of 62.9 c/ha.
It was earlier reported that farmers are predicting lower yields due to a dry May. After some time, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy improved the forecast for the grain harvest. The forecast describes a grain harvest of about 56 million tons. Of these, wheat – 21 million tons.
