At a ceremony at the National Museum Manila along with hundreds of dignitaries, journalists and supporters, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.64 years old, was sworn in and paid homage to his father’s 20-year term marked by corruption and rights violations.
“I once met a man who saw how little has been achieved since independence. And he did it,” he said after being sworn in under the gaze of his 92-year-old mother, Imelda.
“So it will be with your son. You won’t get excuses from me,” he added.
